I like that the picture gives off a fairytale feel when you look at it. From the foggy, forest setting, to the beautifully old construction of the building. The building itself reminds me of Baba Yaga's house, which is a hut that has giant chicken feet to walk around on. Looking at the picture, you feel like you are immersed in a fairytale. As if you were walking around in a forest and came across this house, just like Hansel and Gretel or Vasilisa. These pigeon houses were made during the French Revolution because pigeons were popular both as food as well as fertilizer helpers in vineyards and fields. I expect my creative writing class to be a bit of a challenge for me. I don't really know what else to expect other than that. I struggle a lot with writing because I'm not very creative and have a hard time putting my thoughts together in a cohesive structure. I don't really think of myself as a creative person. I can't come up with very interesting ideas on my own. I get overwhelmed very easily, so having lots of structure to offset my chaotic mind can help me. However, I plan on trying my best in this class. If there are things that I don't really understand, then I will ask questions on things that I don't understand. Time management and dividing the work of essays and papers into reasonable chunks will definitely be a big help in making me feel less overwhelmed.
